TMX IP Feed Change - Market On Open Amendments
Attention TMX IP Customers
Further to Equities Trading Notice 2025-026, the proposed amendments to the Market on Open Auction for each of the Toronto Stock Exchange and the TSX Venture Exchange will be introduced in Q4 2025, subject to regulatory approval.
The TMX IP will implement these changes by introducing four new tags on the Consolidated Data Feed (CDF) and the Consolidated Last Sale (CLS) feed as outlined below.
CLS Feed Changes Summary:
- One new tag:
- Field Identifier: 574 = OpeningAuction = "O"; Opening Auction and "R"; Reopening Auction
CDF Feed Changes Summary:
- Four new tags:
- Field Identifier: 572 = OpeningImbalanceSide
- Field Identifier: 573 = OpeningImbalanceVolume
- Field Identifier: 574 = OpeningAuction
- Field Identifier: 578 = OpeningPairedVolume
- One new message: Opening Auction Notification
