• Session Bundle Setup & Certification

  Once access is established at the network level, order entry application access (via session bundles) is configured and managed through the TMX Market Operations group both for the production and the testing environment. Each order entry session provides secure access for individual clients to send and receive order entry and confirmation messages between the clients' systems and TMX gateways and matching engines. Certification in the testing environment is required for all new customers, and if needed, for existing customers prior to scheduled upgrades.

  Gateway Test Environment ("GTE")

  The GTE environment is a functional test environment which mimics the functionality of the Production environment. Users may use GTE for application certification, User Acceptance Testing, or other required functional testing. Performance or load testing is not permitted.

  New functionality and code changes are deployed in GTE prior to Production, in order to provide users an opportunity to test future functionality in advance of Production go-live.

  The GTE environment is available for order entry as well as some market data feeds. Content on GTE market data feeds is generated by GTE order entry activity.

  The GTE environment follows the below default market hours, unless otherwise stated. Any adjustments to these times will be communicated via e-mail to all users. All times Eastern:

  TSX* and TSX Venture Exchange*

  Pre-Open – 7:30am
  Post-Open open – 10:00am
  MOC Imbalance – 8:40pm
  CCP Determination and Post-Open close – 9:00pm
  Extended Hours Cancel Session – 9:05pm
  Last Sale Trading Session – 9:15pm
  Closing – 9:20pm

  TSX Alpha Exchange*

  Pre-Open – 7:30am
  Post-Open open – 10:00am
  Post-Open close – 9:00pm
  Extended Hours Cancel Session – 9:00pm
  Last Sale Trading Session – 9:15pm
