Market Operations

The primary mission of the Market Operations team is ensuring market quality while facilitating customer business. We operate the Toronto Stock Exchange, TSX Venture Exchange and TSX Alpha Exchange, with staff deployed in Toronto, Markham and remote to ensure seamless support with redundancy ensured. We support trading, market data and listed issuer clients. We're passionate about the customer experience, and ensure that the customer is at the heart of every decision we make.

Market Operations is composed of three teams with different areas of focus: Equities Trade Desk, Market Solutions and Business Operations.

Equities Trade Desk

The Equities Trade Desk team's mandate is to provide outstanding tier one trading and technical client support while focusing on the effective operation of our marketplaces.

Market Solutions Team

The Market Solutions team focuses on the delivery of high impact, customer-oriented solutions, ensuring the effective operation of key products and services while providing consistent delivery of business and technological initiatives.

Business Operations Desk

The Business Operation team provides support to our equity capital markets clients, listed issuers and focuses on delivering on the daily core tasks in areas such as corporate actions, marketdata product support, compliance and governance services.

We support a broad range of clients and vendors across our equity markets and our knowledgeable team is there to support you and we welcome any of your enquiries. Some examples of support include: General trading enquiries, Trade cancellations and alterations, Buy-in administration, Trader registrations, license approvals and transfers, Testing preparations, User ID additions and deletions, and Consultations around Market Data, and Network Connectivity to TMX.
