S&P/TSX Venture Index Eligibility
The S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index is a broad market capitalization-based index which is designed to measure the performance of securities listed on TSX Venture Exchange, Canada's public venture capital marketplace.
Recent additions to the S&P/TSX Venture suite of indices are the S&P/TSX Venture Select Index and the S&P/TSX Venture 30. S&P/TSX Venture Select and S&P/TSX Venture 30 index candidates are drawn from the S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index. Candidates are then narrowed down to an investable set of stocks where index constituents must meet minimum size and liquidity requirements to ensure investability and tradability.
