RTD feature in TSX InfoSuite

The Premium version of TSX InfoSuite offers additional datasets, access to anonymous reports, floating modules, a stock screener, and more. One key feature of the premium package, the Real Time Data tool (RTD/DDE), allows users to stream dynamic, real time quotes to a custom MicroSoft Excel spreadsheet. Available data points include last price, volume, change, bid, ask, EPS, PE ratios, dividend yields, etc. A wide range of applications for this feature include modeling, peer analysis, benchmarking, portfolio tracking, analysis, and more.

There are two versions of RTD available to Premium users, RTD Basic and RTD Plus. The Basic version doesn't require additional software downloads, but will require manual formula entries. While RTD Plus requires an excel plugin download for simplified formula entry, with predefined templates available. For full details on both versions, computer specifications, and a step-by-step guide on how to use them, visit this page and watch the tutorial video below.

The excel template shown in this tutorial was developed by our team in RTD Basic. If you would like a copy of this template, or if you would like more information on these features, or on the Premium version of TSX InfoSuite, please reach out to our team at issuer.services@tmx.com.
